This photograph ‘Max et les tulipes’ comes from the work and the book 'Mère et Fils' (ed Loco 2017), it is a series that I created with my son which deals with our relationship following the death of his father.

Anne De Gelas is an artist based in Bruxelles, Belgium.

She studied drawing and photography in Brussels. She currently lives and works in this city. Her work is like a diary composed of text, drawings, collages and photographs. Anne De Gelas published several books; “Carnets”2003 ed Galerie P, “L’Amoureuse”2013 ed Le Caillou Bleu – reissued 2023 ed. Loco, “Mère et Fils” 2017 ed Loco, as well as various self-publishing publications. She has participated in numerous exhibitions in Belgium and abroad.
