Osama is one of the many Palestinian children who, as a result of the war in Syria, had to flee from the Palestinian Yarmouk refugee camp near Damascus. He and his family ended up in the Shatila Palestinian refugee camp in Beirut, whose grounds are known for the immense pain and suffering that it had to endure. Palestinians who were forcibly displaced during the catastrophic events of the Nakba in 1948, never imagined they should relive another traumatic exile.
