Having lost Sinéad O’Connor in the same year that Palestinian and Jewish people experienced unimaginable horrors inflicted on them by extremists on both sides, I couldn’t think of a more suitable photograph to put up for auction. Violence will only breed more violence, we need to open up our hearts and talk to each other.
