This collage of two experimental darkroom prints shows part of the upper body of a woman looking up, combined with a photograph of clouds below.

By experimenting with chemicals, I want to show a body that is seemingly appearing or disappearing in space, transcending time.

The dots and spots remind us of the stars in the galaxy but by including a recognizable element of earth, we are at the same time reminded of our place in the here and now.

I hope the photograph radiates a feeling of peace and tranquility.
