The artwork I've made was shot in Beirut, Lebanon, from the series 'Love Me in a Crisis.'

Collaborating with journalist Pello Mugica Gonzalez, we delve into global conflict, unveiling love's expressions. From nuanced body language to palpable tension, love gracefully transcends conservative regions, providing solace in refugee temporary homes.

Marie Dhaese is a photographer based in Ghent, Belgium.

She finished her Master program in Photography at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent, Belgium. Her pictures are unvarnished, nude and are showing the deviance in the ordinary. The cracks of reality are setting the framework for her work.

She works intuitively which is reflected in her pictures and a subconscious is revealed.
