Mashid Mohadjerin
Ahed Tamimi (14 at this moment) getting ready for the Friday resistance march in the village of Nabi Saleh in the West Bank. The village has 500 inhabitants, every Friday they hold a "symbolic " demonstration knowing they will have teargas thrown at them, rubber bullets fired at them and even live bullets. Ahed has been arrested multiple times for her activism.
Mashid Mohadjerin is a documentary photographer and visual artist based in Antwerp, Belgium.
Her work focusses on identity, resilience, political resistance and representations thereof. She received her PhD in the Arts at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp in 2021. Mashid works for major publications while producing personal multi-disciplinary projects. She has published three books and is working on her fourth.
