Invisibility of a woman

We usually don't know who the person behind the woman is, what they have/have been through. You can see the woman's hands, but not her face. 

Mayli Sterkendries is a portrait & docu photographer based in Ghent, Belgium.

Graduated from the Art School of Bruges in Video and Photography. After moving from the seaside to Ghent, she studied photography for two more years at Sint Lucas School of Arts.

Loves to help people, as she takes care of my disabled father and family in the Philippines.
