I took this photograph of two doves sitting on a window ledge outside the home of a 16-year old TB-patient in Tajikistan while on assignment for MSF.

Worldwide doves symbolize peace, innocence and love, something that is currently being destroyed in Gaza, with children bearing the brunt of the horrific consequences of this indescribable violence.
