Ans Brys

€125.00
Sold Out

Ans Brys is a documentary photographer, based in Antwerp, Belgium.
Her anthropological approach is always about connecting, about the layeredness of life.
She’s attracted to casual encounters in life, to similarities and banalities, eventually ending up in a broadly connected human network.

Kos - August 18, 2015

A Czech tourist sprawls in the swimming pool of Hotel Leonidas.

Hotel Captain Elias is located just behind the fence.

This vacant hotel became an illegal refugee camp in the spring of 2015, where people from all over the world are waiting for access to continue traveling to the Greek mainland.

“Alle Menschen (werden Brüder)” is an ongoing visual long-term research into the perception and prejudices that exist in relation to migration within Europe.
